Jagermeister in porn, XXVIth in a series, or: Dollar shots
Where American porn tends to use the sound of lawnmowers outside the filming location as a prop, the Europeans (in this case, Cindy Dollar in a scene from Viv Thomas' "Members Only 5") often employ liquor cabinets.
"A well-stocked bar is a sign of wealth and attracts naked women," said Jean-Claude Parallelogramme, a spokesman for Europe (not the band).
The fetishist will note the presence of a Jagermeister bottle alongside other upscale liquors, whereas American plutocrats often consider Jagermeister suitable only for red-faced yahoos on Spring Break. We shall overcome. Nicki Hunter will help me change that.

It's what's for dinner
Naturally, I thought Cum on Her Chops was about marination innovations for certain cuts of beef. Turns out it is a two-year-old European movie* just released recently in the United States.
You can be sure this was not the original title of this movie, as Europeans don't use 30's American gangster language. If that was the case, Chin Music would have been a much better title.
Here at Gram Ponante Towers, Aviary, Yurt, Brasserie, Catacombs, and Helipad, we have come to terms with certain conventions, like the necessity of a facial popshot as the punctuation that ends a scene of gentle lovemaking. Yet the boxcover of this movie pretends that sort of thing is optional:
"European girls have no inhibitions! Brunette beauty Susanne Brend is joined by 5 other cuties (all natural breasts!) who all love to finish their sex scenes with a big hot sticky shot of jizz right in the face!"
I imagine the conversation going thusly:
Director: We're about to end the scene. Would you like to end it with a big hot sticky shot of jizz right in the face, a big hot sticky shot of jizz right in the face, or a big hot sticky shot of jizz right in the face?
Susanne: I think I'd like to mix it up a little with a big hot sticky shot of jizz right in the face. 23 skidoo!

Slam It in a Slut - from Its perspective
Because I am the last king of Scotland, I have an appreciation for the perspective of Gazzman, that country's only porn director. Here are some annotated snaps from his movie Slam It in a Slut.
If you've come this far past GramPonante.com's elaborate security system, I'm sure I don't have to tell you what "It" is. Above, Ana Nova and Smokie reenact a scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey, with It as the Starchild.
Gazzman's house music camera style prevented a clear shot of Max's nipples and face in the same frame. Call me an old-fashioned Gestaltist but the sum of them always works better for me than just the parts themselves. Max' nipples strain at the screen. With my new high-res monitor, I was actually able to hang some firewire cables from them.

Sex workers gather in Poland
An international group of sex workers attended the recently-concluded 18th International Conference on the Reduction of Drug Related Harm in Warsaw. Below is the group's statement.
STATEMENT FROM SEX WORKER HEALTH AND RIGHTS ADVOCATES
The statement is based on materials developed by Stella, a Canadian sex worker rights organization, for the 2006 International Conference on HIV/AIDS. A working group of sex workers and sex worker rights advocates committed to increasing the participation of sex workers and their organizations at the International Conference on Reduction of Drug Related Harm adapted Stella’s statement in consultation with our communities and networks. We are pleased to present the following key messages about sex workers rights and harm reduction issues to delegates and participants in Warsaw:
n Human rights for sex workers: Recognizing and ensuring the protection of sex workers’ human rights is essential to promoting health and safety. By ensuring that sex workers have full enjoyment of their human rights, the discrimination and abuse that sex workers are often subject to can be reduced or eliminated and access to health and social services can be improved.
n Sex workers are part of the solution: Sex worker leadership and empowerment are essential in fighting HIV and discrimination. Sex workers are their own best resource—they should be at the forefront of developing and implementing the programs and policies that impact their lives. It is only by empowering sex workers to speak for themselves and developing sex worker leadership that stigma and rights violations will be stopped.
n Sex work is work, not “harm”: Sex work (itself) is not inherently harmful. The reasons why people engage in sex work vary widely, as do the reasons why people chose a variety of other jobs. Many sex worker health and rights organizations incorporate a harm reduction framework when they address the needs of sex workers who use drugs. Other sex worker health and rights organizations have a less comfortable relationship with a harm reduction because “harm” is sometimes defined as sex work or sex workers (themselves). For sex worker rights advocates, the “harm” associated with sex work results from repressive environments in which sex work is not recognized as work and sex workers lack basic human rights and access to appropriate health services.
n Workers’ rights for sex workers: Sex work should be recognized as work in order to ensure safe and appropriate working conditions. The lack of workers’ rights leaves sex workers vulnerable to abuse and poor working conditions.
In addition, following consultation during the 18th International Conference on the Reduction of Drug Related Harm, we would like to affirm that sex workers are key players in promoting human rights and harm reduction, and are pleased to do so in conjunction with allies who share our philosophies and commitment to justice.

Hungary on Bush presidency: "We've got that beat"
As you know, it is impossible for something to be sexually attractive until it turns 18. The lone exception is this Jagermeister dispenser here in the office.
A Parliament minister in Hungary, which is one of the most prolific porn producers in Europe, has inserted language into a draft of the larger penal code that would make it legal for Hungarians to make pornographic material with teens between 14 and 17, provided the teens are not related to or in the care of the pornographer and the material is not for commercial use.
"If we consider people 14 years of age to be mature enough to consent to sexual acts, then the chance to make picture recordings of this ... can also be allowed," Hungarian Justice Minister Jozsef Petretei said.
Detractors, most of them sputteringly incredulous that the state was even considering this, were able at least to say that the measure would create "a waiting room for prostitution".
This is my opinion, but I would assume that for such a proposal to be made - by the Justice Minister, no less - that porn involving 14-17-year-olds (if not younger) is already being produced to such an extent that the state feels the only way it can be controlled is to legalize and regulate it.
If the age of consent is 14 in that country, the idea of privately-held images of people acting out that consent shouldn't be shocking. After all, it's done that way here.
In the United States, it is illegal to shoot porn with a person under age 18 (and discussing this with a person under 18 is considered pandering), though the age of consent in many states is 17 or 16 (and, in the case of South Carolina, a very Hungarian 14). It is also my assumption that 18, the age of consent in porn groves Florida and California, is what determined the age of porn consent.
Can you imagine what wuld happen if it became legal to shoot 17-year-olds in the United States? Every copy of Barely Legal would spontaneously turn into a MILF title.
Many people in the adult industry believe that the age of porn consent should be 21. They argue that potential performers need a few years of having normal sex so that they aren't put on the fast track to rectal prolapse without having had a little time to figure out what their options really are.
I know plenty of mature and capable 18-21-year-olds, but I agree with this. It's arbitrary and in its arbitrariness unfair (and I know plenty of 30-year-old performers who are just as mature as an 18-year-old), but a waiting period between the age of consent and the age of one's first filmed gangbang is a smart idea.
In Hungary, Minister Petretei's portion of the draft will be voted on next week. It is hard not to make value judgments about this, despite the obvious trump card of having an age of consent that assumes maturity at 14. It's easy to imagine the malt shops and arcades of Budapest filling with newly-minted cameramen who just last week were pedophiles.
