AVN Awards Host Stanhope "Just A Fan"

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Comedian Doug Stanhope will co-host the 2003 AVN Awards ceremony with Chloe.

"I'd rather do this than Letterman," the LA.-based, Massachusetts-born comedian said, and it's a help that he's a big fan of co-host Chloe, too. "She's hilarious; it's gonna be fun to work with her."

Stanhope has appeared on a passel of Comedy Central shows, as well as The Howard Stern Show. His latest concert DVD, "Word of Mouth" is on sale on his website, DougStanhope.com.

Stanhope will be given a script for the show, "but it's just introductions – it's up to me to make it funny," he told AVN.com. And how does one prepare to host the biggest awards show in adult entertainment?

"Well, they (AVN) sent me a lot of the nominated tapes, but I'm an old guy and I couldn't get through half of them," he admits. "After about 15 minutes of Fashionistas I turned up half-dehydrated."

Would he be willing to give Chloe some tips on her presentation?

"Only if she asks," Stanhope says. "She's the real performer, and I told her that." Apparently Chloe was "a little nervous" about co-hosting the awards, according to Stanhope. "I said, 'Listen: I just saw you on the internet taking two fists up your ass – and you're nervous?'"

The AVN Awards will be presented January 11 in Las Vegas.

Director Endows Digits

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Publicity move or not, now Axel Braun is putting his money where the masturbation is.

The Elegant Angel director had his hands insured with Lloyd’s of London for $400K after shooting The Squirting Adventures of Dr. G. Braun plays the titular role in the film, which he described as “a lot of fun to make” on location in Prague, though he “worked (his) ass off.”

Despite this, Braun chose to insure his hands instead. Each finger is now worth a stripped Lexus.

Elegant Angel’s The Squirting Adventures of Dr. G will be released next month.
