I don't keep up with what the altporn crowd does as much as I'd like, probably because I think gloomy is sexy only by accident. (This is because of my extensive training in Boal Theatre.) But Amelia G. at altporn pioneer Blueblood published an interview on the occasion of Erotic BPM (beats per minute)'s ninth anniversary with its founder, Scott Owens, who had some interesting things to say about the type of people - fans and models - his site attracts.
Amelia G: Do you consider EroticBPM to be alt-porn?Read the rest of the article here.Scott Owens: Yes, for lack of a better term.
Amelia G: Do you consider EroticBPM to be feminist?
Scott Owens: I prefer to say it is feminist-friendly.
Many women who consider themselves feminist approve of and participate in my website, but people have different ideas on how to define “feminist”. So I would rather let people decide if they think it is feminist rather than try to convince people it is.

- i really like that idea of letting people decide if it is feminism, vs. trying to convince them that it is. THAT's hot. :)
