Of Viva la Van, director Van Styles' collection of ten scenes that are close to his heart, he writes, "So sit back, relax and keep the lotion and tissue close."The idea of someone suggesting that people masturbate to porn is distasteful to me. It is too on the nose (or, in my case, over the shoulder). It's like advertising toilet paper with "It's for Shitting!"
Regardless, I believe Mr. Styles when he says these scenes are personally moving, such as Katja Kassin's romp with three dudes on a carpeted Porn Valley duplex stairway.
On the set of Cuckolds 2 I asked Cram Johnson what his standards were vis a vis the pornish art form. "I have to be able to jerk off to each scene in editing," he said. It concerns me that he is looking at my scene right now.
So that Styles personally chose these scenes is reassuring, and I find that claim more credible than recent Hustler titles branded "Larry Flynt's Private Collection". The thought of Larry rolling around an oak-paneled porn library selecting month-old Memphis Monroe titles with a gold-plated back scratcher doesn't ring true to me.
