Konnie of DVSX has put together a series of videos from Porn Star Karaoke that document better than anything how there is more happenins offstage than on.While YouTube does not allow nudity ("I had to cut down what I uploaded because there were tits flashing everywhere," Konnie said), neither, anymore, does Porn Star Karaoke.
After a couple of particularly risque incidents involving the adjacent Von's parking lot last year, there is no nudity allowed at PSK except in the bathrooms, and even then one needs a doctor present. Luckily I have my PhD. in Clinical Sexology from a reputable online university.
The result of the nudity ban is that where once one could tell the difference between the porn stars and the Sardo's waitresses by the fact that the waitresses were not flashing and sitting on your lap, now there appears to be no difference whatsoever.
Konnie's videos emphasize the parking lot culture as well as the please-clear-the-aisles culture of PSK, and are shot in a grainy Zapruder Film style that takes viewers back to a simpler time.
