Soccer hooligan Tia Brodie sends these pictures from England, an eel-eating country that gave us To Sir with Love and Emma Bunton.
"I'm back to Canada on 17 June," says Brodie, steadfastly clinging to the idea of an empire that is passed.
There is something accessible about Brodie that first occurred me in the way she conducted herself in a dark parking lot with a bunch of porn-crazed camera phone-wielding backwards-hat guys.
"Stand in a queue, lads," she said.
She has a trashy quality reminiscent of how porn stars look in the very early morning, like 10 or 11 a.m.
