Larry Flynt Productions has ended the Publicity contract of Jeff Mullen and AllMediaPlay. The company will handle publicity in-house from now on.Mullen will continue to direct for Hustler (and other companies) under his alias.
AllMediaPlay continues to handle companies like Sex Z Pictures, Stoney Curtis' Lethal Hardcore, and SugarDVD. Mullen is also responsible for the publicity behind and career management of Britney Rears.
Jodie Marie, who wrote a chapter of the Carly Milne-edited "Naked Ambition" about women in the adult industry, has been laid off as PurePlay Media's art director after a stint of three years. Other recent layoffs at PurePlay include two salespeople and the company's warehouse manager.
Marie was responsible for the unique look and promo art for studios like NinnWorx, Score, Simon Wolf, Danni's Hard Cut, Suze Randall, Swank, Cousin Stevie, and Seymore Butts.
