Taylor Rain goes gentle into that good night
 Porn performer Taylor Rain, 25, has announced she is retiring from on-camera work, but will continue perpetrating her vision through the media of directing and through stewardship of LukeFord.com.Defiance Films, which owns the website and for whom Rain directs, released a statement today detailing Taylor's decision to concentrate on her own website and to start a family with Defiance manager Keith O'Connor of Natick. "Haven't I paid my dues?" Rain asked former husband and current employee Scott Fayner, who summoned all his journalistic gravitas for the interview. Conventional wisdom around the smoky corridors and secret back rooms of Gram Ponante Towers suggests that Rain's performance retirement will be temporary, and that she will resurface in that VH-1 of a porner's career: the MILF movie, Dave Cummings video, or Digital Playground contract. Rain's joie de vivre and prescription to medical marijuana have made her a fan favorite, so we can only assume that the retirement is a marketing trick by the canny New England-bred Defiance collective of O'Connor and Rhode Island's Anthony Simone (Norman Bentley is from Southern California but he has Newton written all over him).
